Patti Ajello exhibition

Eccomi di nuovo. Volevo raccontarvi della prima mostra di quadri della mia amica Patrizia Ajello, dolcissima moglie del mio amico fraterno Fabrizio De Nicola. l'inaugurazione è stata venerdì scorso a Pallavicino (Palermo) presso la villa che ospita l'ordine dei medici. Personalmente conoscevo solo alcuni quadri, appesi alle pareti di casa De Nicola, ma devo dire che sono rimasto molto piacevolmente stupito sia dalla particolarità che dalla quantità di opere esposte alla mostra.
 Devo dire che anche la location si è rivelata molto particolare e di grande suggestione, soprattutto al al tramonto, con il fantastico buffet offerto in terrazza.
Che dire.... tutto di grandissimo effetto.

Here I am again. I wanted to tell you about the first exhibition of pictures of my friend Patrizia Ajello, sweet wife of my close friend Fabrizio De Nicola. The opening was last Friday in Pallavicino (Palermo) at the villa that houses the medical profession. Personally I only knew some paintings hanging on the walls of the house De Nicola, but I must say I was very pleasantly surprised by both the particularity that the amount of works in the exhibition.
I must say that the location turned out to be very special and very beautiful, especially at sunset, with the fantastic buffet offered on the terrace.
What about .... all of great effect.

Wind Farm

Buon pomeriggio a tutti. è passato  oltre un mese dall'ultima volta e a breve riprenderò i contatti con il mondo. Oggi, però, ho letto su un quotidiano la notizia di un parco eolico sulla spiaggia di ILOCOS NORTE, sull'isola di Luzon. Ho anche visto alcune fotografie. Vorrei sapere dalla mia amica (e insegnante) Tara cosa ne pensava. Ecco la fotografia della spiaggia.

Good afternoon everyone. Has been over a month since the last time and a short take up contacts with the world. Today, however, I read in a newspaper the news of a wind farm on the beach in Ilocos Norte, on the island of Luzon. I also saw some pics. I want to know from my friend (and teacher) Tara what he thought.Here is one pic of the beach.

Come si fa a perdere velocemente i chili accumulati in questi pochi giorni di Pasqua? Questa è la domanda che mi sto ponendo da ieri sera. E immediatamente sono spuntate le famose "lacrime di coccodrillo". La prova costume da bagno è oramai alle porte e dovrò al più presto cominciare a fare la fame!!!! Certo che le burrate..... erano troppo buone!!!!!! E poi..... troppi dolci!!!

A Barletta il tempo è stato bellissimo e ho visto una processione molto caratteristica. Ho fatto anche qualche fotografia che vi mostrerò nel prossimo post. Ora devo lasciarvi,.troppe cose da fare dopo alcuni giorni passati fuori casa. Un buon pomeriggio a tutti.

How do you quickly lose the pounds accumulated in these few days of Easter? This is the question!!! I'm asking since last night. And immediately have sprouted the famous "crocodile tears". The test swimsuit is nearly upon us and I'll soon begin to go hungry!! Of course burrate ..... were too good!! And then ..... too many sweets!

At Barletta the weather was beautiful and I saw a procession very characteristic. I also did some pics that I will show in the next post. Now I must leave you. Too much to do after a few days spent outside home. A good afternoon to everyone.

E la Pasqua sta arrivando, a differenza della primavera che non vuole saperne ancora di farsi vedere; le previsioni meteo per il week end pasquale sembrano, piuttosto, quelle natalizie!!!!! Consoliamoci con le uova pasquali. Domani, comunque, parto per quella che, scherzando, definisco "visita parenti" : dopo molto tempo andrò in Puglia, a Barletta, per festeggiare la Pasqua con i parenti di mia moglie occasione per abbuffarsi di burrata: per chi non la conoscesse a prima vista sembra una mozzarella ma con un fantastico ripieno di crema di latte e pezzi di pasta di latte filante, detta stracciatella, una vera goduria per noi golosi

Non so se nei prossimi giorni potrò pubblicare un altro posto, in ogni caso auguro a tutti buona Pasqua. Io sto già ingrassando di qualche chilo al solo pensiero dei dolci che mangerò!!!!!!
A proposito..... da domenica, finalmente, torna in vigore l'ora legale: non so per voi, ma per me è come se iniziasse l'estate.

E anche questa domenica è passata

Mi sono reso conto che sono passate già circa due settimane da quando ci siamo lasciati e allora.....
Domenica di caldo (circa 24/25 gradi) ma con un sole velato e lo scirocco che fa prevedere l'arrivo della pioggia.   D I  N U O V O ??????  Come se non bastasse tutta l'acqua venuta questo inverno!!!!!
Domenica trascorsa a non fare praticamente niente. Ma quando viene l'estate???? Voglia grandissima di oziare in spiaggia.

I realized that already have passed about two weeks since we broke up and then .....

Sunday warm (about 24/25 degrees) but with a veiled sun and the south wind that brings with it the arrival of the rain. A G A I N ???!!! As if that were not enough all the water coming this winter!!

Sunday spent not doing practically nothing. But when the summer?? Great desire to laze on the beach.
