Quanto tempo è passato? Non ricordo neanche più; dovrei guardare l'elenco dei miei post per risalire all'ultima volta che mi sono fatto vivo. Non importa, non bisognerebbe mai guardarsi indietro. L'importante è che sia di nuovo qui. A volte penso: "ma perché pubblichi un post? Chi pensi che lo leggerà?" poi mi dico che pubblico perché mi va di farlo e mi va di condividere con chiunque avrà voglia di leggere quello che scrivo (spero in molti).
Oramai siamo in primavera, giornate lunghe e sempre più belle, anche se oggi sembrerebbe di essere tornati a fine inverno, vista la temperatura.
Quanto prima riprenderò a pubblicare alcune mie foto e raccontarvi delle mie vacanza. Purtroppo le prossime non saranno prima di un paio di mesi, ma sono sicuro che saranno meravigliose, in compagnia dei mie due fantastici amici Lorenzo e Tiziana. Andremo in Francia (tanto per cambiare), nella zone dello Charente Maritime (Bordeaux/La Rochelle) dove ci sono dune incredibili e si beve dell'ottimo vino.
Beh, per stasera ho terminato. Per gli appassionati di motociclismo sto per vedere il MOTOGP, sperando che il mitico numero 46 "VALE" faccia una bellissima gara.

                                  Me and my friend Lorenzo last summer


How long has it been? I do not even remember ; I look at the list of my posts to date back to the last time I showed up. Never mind, you should never look back . The important thing is to be here again. Sometimes I think : "Why publish a post? Who do you think will read it ? " then I say that public because I want to do it and I am going to share with anyone who will want to read what I write (hopefully many ) .
We are now in the spring, longer days and more and more beautiful , even if today it seems to be back at the end of winter, given the temperature .
Will resume as soon as possible to publish some of my photos and tell you about my vacation. Unfortunately, the next will not be for a couple of months, but I'm sure it will be wonderful , in the company of my two amazing friends Lorenzo and Tiziana . We'll go to France (for a change ), in the areas of Charente Maritime ( Bordeaux / La Rochelle ) where there are incredible dunes and drink wine.

Dopo circa tre mesi ...... era ora che mi rifacessi vivo

Ebbene si..........finalmente sono riapparso in rete. Sono proprio io. Oramai sono passati parecchi mesi dall'ultima volta (più o meno quattro) ma prometto che nei prossimi giorni vi racconterò (sommariamente) della scorsa estate e di quello che vorrei fare nel futuro prossimo.

Finalmente sembra che sia arrivata l'estate!!! Da alcuni giorni sembra che il caldo cominci a farla da padrone. Con il caldo è anche accaduta una cosa che, secondo quanto ho letto su internet, accade molto raramente: la nostra pianta volgarmente chiamata mangia fumo (beaucarnea) è fiorita. Week end a Genova

Ancora pochi giorni e comincia ........ l'inverno!!!!!!! Oggi è il primo giugno e praticamente, come ho già scritto su facebook, si potrebbe pensare a prenotare una settimana sulla neve: piove e ci sono 19°. Ma quando arriva l'estate????????? Nei giorni scorsi sono stato a Genova a trovare mia sorella e le mie bellissime nipotine. A genova faceva freddissimo: 9 gradi e io con il mio abbigliamento estivo ........WOW!!!  Ho incontrato anche alcuni amici di quando avevamo 15 anni ed è stata una bellissima serata. Fortunatamente la domenica il tempo è migliorato e così con mia sorella e le mie nipotine abbiamo passato alcune ore in passeggiata a mare a Nervi. Ho anche incontrato la mia bellissima amica Melania e le sue altrettanto belle figlie (che mi chiamano "il nostro papà adottivo" considerato che le ho viste nascere e adesso hanno 22 anni).

Purtroppo il tempo è sempre troppo poco e lunedì sono rientrato a Palermo. Di seguito alcune foto della serata con i vecchi amici e della domenica con le mie "ragazze".

Still a few days and begins ........ the winter!!! Today is June 1st and practically, as I wrote on facebook, you might think about booking a holiday on the snow: it's raining and there are 19 degrees. But when summer comes????? In recent days I have been to Genoa to visit my sister and my beautiful granddaughters. In Genoa was freezing: 9 degrees and I, with my summer clothes ........ WOW! I also met some friends when we were 15 and it was a beautiful evening. Fortunately the weather improved on Sunday and so with my sister and my granddaughters we spent a few hours in the sea promenade in Nervi. I also met my beautiful friend Melanie and her equally beautiful daughters (they call me "our adoptive father" 'cause since I've seen the birth and now have 22 years). Unfortunately the weather is always too little and on Monday I returned to Palermo. Here are some pics of the evening with old friends and Sunday with my "girls."

Patti Ajello exhibition

Eccomi di nuovo. Volevo raccontarvi della prima mostra di quadri della mia amica Patrizia Ajello, dolcissima moglie del mio amico fraterno Fabrizio De Nicola. l'inaugurazione è stata venerdì scorso a Pallavicino (Palermo) presso la villa che ospita l'ordine dei medici. Personalmente conoscevo solo alcuni quadri, appesi alle pareti di casa De Nicola, ma devo dire che sono rimasto molto piacevolmente stupito sia dalla particolarità che dalla quantità di opere esposte alla mostra.
 Devo dire che anche la location si è rivelata molto particolare e di grande suggestione, soprattutto al al tramonto, con il fantastico buffet offerto in terrazza.
Che dire.... tutto di grandissimo effetto.

Here I am again. I wanted to tell you about the first exhibition of pictures of my friend Patrizia Ajello, sweet wife of my close friend Fabrizio De Nicola. The opening was last Friday in Pallavicino (Palermo) at the villa that houses the medical profession. Personally I only knew some paintings hanging on the walls of the house De Nicola, but I must say I was very pleasantly surprised by both the particularity that the amount of works in the exhibition.
I must say that the location turned out to be very special and very beautiful, especially at sunset, with the fantastic buffet offered on the terrace.
What about .... all of great effect.

Wind Farm

Buon pomeriggio a tutti. è passato  oltre un mese dall'ultima volta e a breve riprenderò i contatti con il mondo. Oggi, però, ho letto su un quotidiano la notizia di un parco eolico sulla spiaggia di ILOCOS NORTE, sull'isola di Luzon. Ho anche visto alcune fotografie. Vorrei sapere dalla mia amica (e insegnante) Tara cosa ne pensava. Ecco la fotografia della spiaggia.

Good afternoon everyone. Has been over a month since the last time and a short take up contacts with the world. Today, however, I read in a newspaper the news of a wind farm on the beach in Ilocos Norte, on the island of Luzon. I also saw some pics.
